I became a mother two decades ago and as a young parent my greatest worry was for my daughter to fall in harms way. I bought the safest car seat available, I became CPR certified, and installed safety locks on every cabinet to protect her, but I did not realize I had the ability to give her the skills she needed to protect herself. This is when I discovered the value of survival swim lessons. Survival swim lessons gave my child the skills to save herself – by herself! Years later, my twins enrolled in the very same program. After they graduated, I knew I wanted become a Certified Survival Swim Instructor to give the same sense of security to families in my community.

Since my certification in 2013, I have had the opportunity to teach the crucial skill of swim survival to over a thousand children in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. I approach each lesson with the goal of giving your child an individualized approach, catering specifically to their needs, and I promise to always place the utmost importance on teaching your child to help themselves should they ever be in a critical aquatic situation.

I am truly passionate about my work and ensuring the safety of your child, and I genuinely love the people I have meet and connections I have made throughout my teaching experience. My goal is to make you and your child feel informed, safe, and truly cared for! Those who know me, know my personalized philosophy prioritizes your child and always aims to make them feel special.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or want to learn more. If you would like to discuss any accommodations, I am happy to work directly with you. I have a background in working with special needs children, in addition to my past of navigating scholarship opportunities with families with financial need.
