2021 COVID-19 Safety Protocols and Parking Instructions 

At Little Seals Swim School we have always been committed to the safety of our students, their families and our Instructors. The one-on-one instructional format of our lessons minimizes the contact children have together. We are taking additional steps to further eliminate the time individuals come into contact with each other. To minimize the transmission of germs around the pool area, we will be implementing the following guidelines for safety. These small steps will make a huge impact on everyone’s safety.

To get to the backyard, use the gate to the left of the house. 
COVID-19 Safety Protocols: 
~ Once you park in a designated parking spot and your child is dressed for lessons please text your child(ren)'s name to the Swim Lesson Group Text. This will indicate to your Instructor that you are ready for swim. One of our Instructors will text you back when you can come to the pool area. It is VERY important that you DO NOT come to the pool area until you receive a text from an Instructor.

~ Please dress/undress your child in your vehicle. This will minimize any overlap of students/parents in the pool area, allowing us to remain compliant with CDC social distancing requirements.

~ Please have only one adult in the pool area with the student. If both parents want to observe lessons, please alternate days of the week.

~ Please leave other children at home when possible. If they must come to lessons it is asked that they sit quietly in a chair or on the steps. This is to both minimize distractions for the student swimming and limit the amount of surfaces that you will need to wipe before you leave the pool area. 

~ Please bring THREE (3) towels to EVERY lesson. This has always been our safety protocol. We will be enforcing this rule strictly. (See below for proper towel set up poolside.)

~ Please use a wipe to clean ALL areas BEFORE AND AFTER your child touches it. (Our wipes have been infused with rubbing alcohol and may not be suitable for use on your child’s body.)

~ Please do not bring any child/person to lessons if s/he is running a fever or who has been requested to self-quarantine by the CDC or health department.

~ Please do not bring any child/person to lessons that has been in contact with someone who has been requested to self-quarantine by the CDC or health department.

~ Instructors will not teach if they have a fever, been asked to self-quarantine, or been in contact with someone who with someone who has been requested to self-quarantine by the CDC or health department.
Three Towel Rule:
1. The first towel should be spread onto the decking/out mat area.
2. The second towel will be placed on top of the first towel.
3. The third towel will be set aside during the lesson.
4. The third towel will be used to cover, warm, and dry your child after the lesson is over.
Parking Instructions: 
 ~ One vehicle on the property per student
  1. ~ Park in front of orange cones ONLY (This is a city of Jacksonville rule that must be strictly followed.
~ Please do not arrive in the driveway more than 5 minutes prior to your lesson time. When this happens it can hinder the flow of traffic in the driveway and cause delays in lesson times.
