What can Little Seals Swim School teach my child?
For detailed information, please visit our website by clicking HERE.
All children are taught the skill of rotating onto their back from a face down to a face-up position in the water.
If a child is under the age of 12 months old or not yet walking, this is where lessons will end until they are over 12 months old and have been walking for a minimum of six weeks.
If a child is over the age of 12 months old and has been walking for six weeks, the child will also learn to swim before and after the rotation onto their backs.
How are lessons scheduled and what is the typical length of the program?
Lessons are held 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) for no longer than 10 minutes each lesson
Children under the age of 12 months old typically need anywhere from 20-24 lessons.
Children over the age of 12 months old typically need anywhere from 28-32 lessons
*After the initial set of lessons, it is recommended that your child attend Adjustment & Upkeep Lessons to maintain their learned skills. These can be scheduled anywhere from 1-2 times per week to 1-4 times per month. If a child does not attend Adjustment & Upkeep Lessons, they will need a minimum of 12-16 consecutive lessons at least twice per year after the initial lessons.
What is the cost of lessons?
Non-refundable registration fee of $85 for new students and $35 for returning students
$120/week ($30/lesson)
